We are seeking an

enthusiastic person with experience in the field of
optical measurement techniques for materials testing (m/f)

to join the LaVision team in Göttingen, Germany, as a Product Manager.
In the role of Product Manager you will be responsible for giving direction to product development and marketing activities worldwide, and you will:

• liaise with key customers on a regular basis to understand current and future requirements,
• monitor current market behaviour and state-of-the-art developments in order to identify new opportunities,
• work closely with the current team of experts within LaVision to understand existing system benefits, and to develop new system approaches,
• provide technical support to the international sales team.

By combining the above with your existing experience, you will drive forward the product line and have a direct impact on product saleability. Success in this role necessitates adaptability to varying situations and an analytical approach to problem solving.

Other desirable skills include;
• excellent communication abilities and fluency in German and English language,
• a proven background in materials testing and solid mechanics,
• experience with image based materials testing,
• a successful track record in product management

Wir suchen Sie zur Verstärkung unserer Software-Abteilung zum nächstmöglichen Termin als

C++-Programmierer/ Software- Entwickler (m/w)

Ihr Profil: Sie sind Fachinformatiker (Anwendungsentwicklung) mit erster Berufserfahrung, oder Sie haben ein abgeschlossenes FH-Studium im Bereich Informatik oder eine vergleichbare Ausbildung. Beherrschung der Programmiersprache C++, objektorientierte Programmierung und technisches/naturwissenschaftliches Grundverständnis gehören ebenso zu Ihren Stärken, wie Team- und Kommunikationsfähigkeit.
Ihre Aufgabe: Sie verstärken unser Softwareentwicklerteam im Bereich der Anwendungsentwicklung für Bildverarbeitung und Visualisierung für unsere Laser-Imaging-Produkte. Sie kommunizieren mit den Produktverantwortlichen, entwickeln Lösungsansätze und implementieren die entsprechenden Softwareroutinen in unserer Anwendung unter Windows. Sie entwickeln 2D/3D-Bildverarbeitungsalgorithmen für technisch-wissenschaftliche Messaufgaben sowie Benutzeroberflächen zur Bedienung und Visualisierung. Sie integrieren High-End Kameras und Steuergeräte für technisch-wissenschaftliche Messaufgaben und erarbeiten im Entwickler-Team eine geeignete Architektur. Sie unterstützen das Team bei der Codepflege, Erstellung von automatisierten Tests und der Dokumentation.
