PIV uncertainty turns out to become more and more important in the PIV community

Already last year, the PIV uncertainty publication from Dr. Douglas Neal from LaVision Inc has been chosen as one of the 2015 highlights in the journal “Measurement Science and Technology”. This publication presented some of the results of an international collaboration of researchers working on PIV uncertainty quantification (UQ).

The MST journal has now published a ranking of the five most cited papers on its website, where one can clearly see that PIV uncertainty is becoming an increasingly important part of PIV evaluations in general and simultaneosly reflects the acceptance of LaVision's PIV uncertainty method in the community. This listing shows that three of the recent LaVision papers dealing with this topic belong to the top 5 most cited papers.

Here you can have a look at the listing.
