LaVision offers a range of high-speed camera systems to match requirements in speed, performance, resolution and recording time to any specific application. Options like increased memory, special timing units for synchronization as well as customized software are available on request.
LaVision's UltraSpeedStar is the choice for ultra-high-speed imaging with highest spatial resolution. The CCD camera records 16 or 4 frames with 1280 x 1024 pixels at max 1 MHz rate. The time intervals between the successive images are freely programmable. Each frame can be triggered to an external event.
UltraSpeedStar is a compact CCD camera connected with fiber optics to the control computer. It comes as a turn-key system with the well known DaVis software package supporting ultra-high-speed measurement and analysis for spray and combustion analysis.
The HighSpeed IRO is a modular lens-coupled system to be mounted in front of (ultra-) high-speed cameras giving highest sensitivity in the UV range. Due to the special image intensifier configuration much higher signal output is achieved compared to standard single stage intensifier systems.

The Video-Stroboscope is a complete PC-controlled, image-acquisition system for investigation of visualised periodic and repetitive, non-periodic events. Fast moving objects are displayed in a still mode (phase locked) or in slow-motion on the PC monitor in real-time. The image sequences are stored simultaneously. No strobe light is necessary i.e. the object can be illuminated by a standard CW light source such as a halogen lamp or by day light.Hence, self-luminous objects can also be examined. For framing of fast moving objects very short shutter times has to be chosen. In this case high power-pulse illumination must be applied for good quality of recorded images.
